Barenaked Ladies are here to help us find a little bit of joy

Can you believe it's been 25 years since Barenaked Ladies' 1992 debut record, Gordon? Who could have predicted that a quarter-century later, our favourite NSFW-named band would still be delighting audiences across the country.

As with any band, members change, tours go by, crowds fluctuate, but throughout it all, at its core, Barenaked Ladies have kept a couple of things going no matter the year. The clear joy the members have for playing music, their sense of humour, their energy, their wit and their positivity — that has all stayed intact.

This year, Ed Robertson, Kevin Hearn, Jim Creeggan and Tyler Stewart are releasing a brand new record called Fake Nudes, and where many artists are exploring the darkness around our social anxieties, Barenaked Ladies are here to help us find a little bit of joy. 

Today, they'll join Tom Power in the studio to perform some new songs and discuss their long, successful career.
