After nearly 10 years as a correspondent on The Daily Show with John Stewart, Aasif Mandvi is returning to his roots. Sakina's Restaurant is a one-man play Mandvi wrote 20 years ago when he was struggling to find parts as an Indian actor in New York. The play is about an Indian-Muslim family who run a restaurant.

Mandvi joined q's Tom Power live from New York to talk about bringing the production back decades later and recording it for the streaming service Audible. Sakina's Restaurant is available online now.
