It's clear that Ken Burns is a filmmaker who's fascinated with American history — what's less obvious is that he has another passion: quilts. Burns loves quilts so much that the International Quilt Study Center at the University of Nebraska currently has part of his collection on display.
Ken Burns talks to Tom Power about the many interesting quilts he's collected throughout his life and how, in a funny way, they have a lot to do with his success as a filmmaker.
