Montreal dance company is evoking the spirit of Leonard Cohen on stage

Leonard Cohen's songs are timeless, a lot of which is thanks to his complex and clever lyrics. Cohen's music is many things, but "danceable" probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind. So when you hear that there's a dance company in Montreal that's putting together a big performance based entirely on Cohen's music you might wonder — how?

A few years ago, Louis Robitaille got the exclusive rights to use Cohen's music in his dance company's performances. Robitaille, the artistic director of Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal, stopped by to paint a picture of just what this show looks like on stage.
