The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is a children's book about an aviator who crashes in the desert and meets a little prince. It was written 76 years ago and still sells millions of copies a year. It's also the most translated non-religious text ever, with translations in 300 languages.

No matter how much the world changes, something about The Little Prince and its gentle life lessons keep resonating and reverberating with audiences.

A new documentary called Invisible Essence: The Little Prince explores the story behind the much-loved book and gives us a glimpse into what makes it so special.

Filmmaker Charles Officer joined q's Tom Power to talk about the documentary and why we should all pick up The Little Prince in 2019.

Invisible Essence: The Little Prince is screening in Toronto tonight at The Regent and it opens in Vancouver on Friday, April 19.
