'I don't see a silver lining just yet': comedians react to the election results
The results are in and Donald Trump has been elected the president of the United States.
This morning, q invited comedians Tom Green, Mark Critch and Negin Farsad to look back at a whirlwind night of politics.
For Farsad, the lone American on this panel, there aren't many jokes she can tell this morning: "I've been sobbing all morning...and that's the punch line. I think I'm full of terror, I don't know what to expect."
Green, who actually appeared on a celebrity version of Trump's reality show The Apprentice, admits that it's going to be a strange day for people around the world trying to make sense of it all. "It just throws you into creative whiplash," he says, in response to a Funny or Die video he starred in in July.
And for Critch, who plays Trump on CBC's This Hour Has 22 Minutes, he warns Canadians that this could easily happen to us, adding, `We might be in for something similar in a few years."
