Blue Rodeo come together on new album 1000 Arms

When Blue Rodeo recruited the Rheostatics' Tim Vesely to help produce their new album, Vesely had one suggestion: for the band to sing together. 

"He came in and said that he had listened to a bunch of our old records," singer Jim Cuddy remembers. "And the one thing that we had gotten away from was singing together.

"Maybe that was true — we had done so many years of that that we've branched out. That was the impetus to craft the songs so we would sing together."

Member Greg Keelor adds: "We really like the sound of our voices together." 

The results can be found on the harmonious tracks of 1000 Arms, the band's fifteenth studio album. Blue Rodeo may be three decades into their career but they're still finding new and refreshing ways to tackle their music and it shows on this dazzling new uptempo record.
