Podcasters Gilmore Guys gab all things Gilmore Girls

Even the most uninitiated fan is familiar with the concept of the Gilmore Girls - a fast-talking mother and daughter duo drink lots of coffee as they navigate life, love and careers. 

The TV show ended almost a decade ago after seven seasons on the air - a blow to many lovers of the series. 

So Kevin Porter, a long-time fan, asked his friend Demi Adejuyigbe, who'd never seen a single episode, to re-watch the series with him and record the who thing via podcast.

Two years later, their show, Gilmore Guys, has grown into a phenomenon frequented by many Gilmore Girls' stars. But Porter and Adejuyigbe are still holding out for the holy grail - Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, the show's protagonists, and Amy Sherman-Palladino, the creator and writer who left the show after its sixth season. 

According to Porter, "it would be much like sitting down with God and talking about 'how did you make the universe?'"

With the Gilmore Girls revival hitting Netflix in November, they joined guest host Candy Palmater to talk about the show's lack of diversity, their hopes for the revamp and being male fans of the show.
