Six artists, four rounds, one chance to become q's first ever artist in residence. Today, two more artists unveil their commissioned works on the theme, "I'm sorry you're offended".

Humble the Poet

Former elementary school teacher Kanwer Singh a.k.a. Humble The Poet uses his teaching background to educate his expanding audience. The Toronto-bred MC and spoken word artist is known for his commanding presence, critical perspective and silly streak. 

Today he presents his untitled poem.


Katherena Vermette

Winnipeg-based Métis writer Katherena Vermette pens poetry, fiction and children's literature. Her first book, North End Love Songs won the 2013 Governor General Literary Award for Poetry. Her work has appeared in literary magazines and anthologies across the globe. She is currently working on an NFB documentary and a new novel, The Break. 

Today she presents a political poem called, Dear Steve
