Rod Stewart: 'Forget fame. Do it because you love the music.'
British singer and audience favourite Rod Stewart reflects on his long and successful career, and talks about his 29th studio album Another Country.
Singer Rod Stewart's latest — and 29th — album, released this October, is called Another Country.
From the first notes of his self-written hit Maggie May in 1971, through his five volume American Songbook series, the raspy-voiced star has been an audience favourite, selling over 200 million albums worldwide.
Stewart sits down with Shad in studio q to discuss his latest album, Another Country; how he overcome a years-long writer's block; and what it's like to be a father of eight (including two young children) at age 70.
