Donnie Dumphy creatives teach us How To Be Deadly

Donnie Dumphy creator Leon Parsons and How To Be Deadly director Nik Sexton stop by studio q to talk about the movie and its beloved Newfoundlander star.

He loves rapping, bologna, and dirt bikes. He's a proud Newfoundlander. Oh, and he's a fictional YouTube character who's bringing his online shenanigans to the big screen in the new movie How To Be Deadly.

His name is Donnie Dumphy and he's the creation of Leon Parsons, who describes the character as a mixture of everyone he's ever met in Newfoundland and Labrador. Or, more simply, "It's me drinking with a wig on."

Parsons and director Nik Sexton join Shad to talk about the movie and mining the quirks of their Newfoundland heritage for laughs.
