Kevin Drew is a musical force in his own right, but you can always find the Broken Social Scene frontman vibing out at someone else's concert or telling people about that new band they need to hear.

As part of our ongoing playlist series, the singer and songwriter joins Shad to spin his favourite songs by his collaborators — including Stars, The Tragically Hip and Baron Longfellow (a.k.a '70s hitmaker Andy Kim).

Drew, co-founder of the Arts & Crafts record label, also comments on his wider artistic interests and the creative process.

"It's always the first take or the 78th take. Everything else is forced," he says.
