- Piya speaks with Toronto filmmaker Amar Wala about his documentary The Secret Trial 5. The film examines the clash between rights and national security in a post 9/11 world, and follows five Muslim men who were held in Canadian prisons for nearly 30 years combined. None of the men were ever charged with any crime, none of the men were ever told of any evidence against them -- but Canadian authorities were allowed to be keep these men behind bars indefinitely. The Secret Trial 5 tells that story.
- Piya talks to actor Jason Schwartzman, an actor known for playing clueless but sweet-hearted characters in films like Rushmore and shows like HBO's Bored to Death. In his new film, Listen Up Philip, Schwartzman plays against type as an unrepentant misanthrope.
