What are culture vultures discussing 'round the water cooler today? q producer Aparita Bhandari scans the latest arts and entertainment headlines to keep us in the know.

At issue today:

  • Margaret Atwood names Tutul winner of the Pen Writer of Courage Award. The Bangladeshi writer and publisher, whose real name is Ahmedur Rashid Chowdhury shares the prize with Atwood, who won it earlier this year. The award honours writers in at-risk situations. Tutul was forced into exile in Norway earlier this year for consistently pushing back against critics and encouraging them to use their words instead of inciting violence.
  • Phil Collins is back at it again. After announcing his retirement in 2011 due to nerve damage, the Genesis front man and drummer is kicking off a European tour this June at the Royal Albert Hall. Unfortunately, 65 year-old won't be sitting behind the drum kit. Instead, his 15 year-old son will be manning the sticks.
