China's Canadian star Dashan on spreading stand-up comedy

You may have heard that Western-style stand-up has taken off in China — but did you know that a Canadian was instrumental in warming up the crowd? 

Before Mark Rowswell, better known by his stage name Dashan, few comedians had attempted the more personal, punchline-heavy form of comedy. He joins Friday host Gill Deacon to discuss how he used his fame as a top media personality in China to make people laugh in a whole new way.
