PUP blazes on after doctor says 'the dream is over'
Toronto punk band PUP tears through studio q with their amped up new record The Dream is Over. The title is a direct quote from a doctor who told lead singer Stefan Babcock he'd have to stop singing — or risk losing his voice entirely.
Shad checks in to see how the band handled the warning.
"It's just a bummer to think that the lives of four people — and a bunch of other people who work with us — are dependent on this little muscle in your throat the size of a nickel," says Babcock, saying he felt helpless when he first heard the news.
The punk rockers also perform three face-melting tracks, If This Tour Doesn't Kill You I Will, DVP and Doubts, and explain how they're trying to keep the dream alive.
