"He insisted that you call him Gordie. There was no Mr. Howe."

Sportscaster Bob Cole opens today's q sports panel with a reflection on hockey legend Gordie Howe, a man he remembers as a gentleman on and off the ice.

Bob Cole, longtime announcer for Hockey Night in Canada, remembers Gordie Howe, following news of the hockey icon's death.

Our sports panel Morgan CampbellSonali Karnick and Dave Zirin also join Shad to reflect on Howe.

"We're losing our legends," says Zirin, who is currently in Louisville, Kentucky, where tens of thousands are expected to pay respect to another sports great we recently lost, Muhammad Ali.

The panel also discuss Ben Roethlisberger's appearance on The Bachelorette and the conflicted message it sends given his history with sexual assault, as well as how athletes and media are handling the issue of the Zika virus at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
