Serena Ryder is back. Its been five years since her hit single "Stompa" from her album Harmony. Contrary to her album's name, Ryder's life wasn't always as harmonious as her album would imply. On this episode, Ryder opens up about her battle with depression, the lessons she learned along the way and talked about her latest project, Utopia

She stopped by the q studio to play Utopia's lead single, "Got Your Number", as well as some of her older hits.

You can catch Serena Ryder headlining the CBC Music Festival this weekend. Find out all the details for the festival here.

If you can't be in Toronto, the entire show will be streaming on CBC Music's Facebook page.
