There's a new book out that's been causing some people to worry that it will motivate violence, and that others have thought was too dangerous to publish. It's called Adjustment Day by Chuck Palahniuk, the award-winning author behind Fight Club, which was adapted into the 1999 movie of the same name starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.

Palahniuk sees his new novel as a companion to Fight Club. It's just as dark and even more violent. It brings readers into a time and place where young men have launched a violent revolution that involves murder, brutality, and racial and gender divides.

Today on q, Tom Power talks to Palahniuk about his new novel and some of the tough subjects it brings up. Adjustment Day is out now.
