Polaris Music Prize 2018: Who made the shortlist and who might win
Our music panel examines the 2018 Polaris Music Prize shortlist.
Every Friday, our q music panel looks at the biggest stories in music news. Today, CBC Music's Angeline Tetteh-Wayoe and CBC Vancouver's Lisa Christiansen join guest host Talia Schlanger to celebrate Canadian music.
Earlier this week the shortlist was announced for the Polaris Music Prize, which celebrates the best Canadian album regardless of popularity, sales or genre. The 10 finalists are out and a winner will be determined at a gala in September.
Today, we break down some of the nominees and look at who made the cut and who else maybe deserved to make the cut. Listen above.
