Gina Yashere gambled on her hard-won success in the U.K. for a shot in the U.S. She tells Talia Schlanger why she's at her best when she's out of her comfort zone.

When Gina Yashere left her established comedy career in the U.K., she gambled on her hard-won success in her home country for a shot in the United States. Now she lives and works as an immigrant in a country that is redefining its entire stance on immigration, which might make some people feel a little out of their comfort zone.

If you've seen Yashere on Netflix's The Standups or appearing on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, you'll know that she couldn't be more in her element. Today, Yashere drops by the q studio to talk to guest host Talia Schlanger about why she's at her best when she's out of her comfort zone.
