The trailer for a new Netflix series about dogs is the most adorable thing you'll see all week
The tail-wagging six-part series travels around the world to trace our love of dogs.
If you're a dog lover, you'll want to check out a heart-warming new Netflix documentary series that already has tails wagging.
Aptly titled Dogs, the new six-part series traces the deep bond between humans and their "best friends."
"Dogs takes us on an inspirational journey exploring the remarkable, perhaps even magical qualities that have given these animals such a special place in all of our hearts," reads a release from Netflix.
In the series, an 11-year-old girl who has serious seizures is paired with Rory, a dog trained to detect oncoming problems; a Syrian refugee living in Germany tries to arrange a reunion with his Husky, Zeus; and an Italian fisherman relies on his 10-year-old Lab, Ice, to help with the family business.
Other episodes head to Japan to meet some of the world's top dog groomers, to a famed dog sanctuary in the Costa Rican rainforest, and to New York where there are more dogs than there are people in Cleveland.
Directors include several Oscar winners and nominees, among them Heidi Ewing(Jesus Camp, One of Us), Amy Berg (Deliver Us from Evil), Richard Hankin (The Jinx), Roger Ross Williams (Life Animated), and T.J. Martin and Daniel Lindsay (Undefeated, LA 92).
"Dogs don't just make us feel loved, dogs make us feel safe," said director Glenn Zipper in an interview with Variety. "In the world we live in today, no matter how divided we are, we should take care to realize how much dogs mean to all of us, and how our bond with them can help bring us together."
The series is being released November 16. Check out the adorable trailer:
