From Rush to Céline Dion: artists who recorded at Quebec's iconic Le Studio
Quebec's historic Le Studio, a recording studio in the Laurentian Mountains, burned down this morning. Provincial police received a call around 5:30 a.m., and firefighters set off to the studio but it was too late. They've since called it a "total loss."
The space was built in 1972 by Montreal recording engineer and producer André Perry. Over 50 albums were recorded or mixed at Le Studio and it was even dubbed "Rush's Abbey Road."
Below is a list of some of the most notable musicians who recorded there and the albums that were created inside the walls of Le Studio.
