When our friend Rignam Wangkhang went searching for his favourite Tibetan treat, momos, in his new city of Winnipeg, we never expected it would start a momo movement.

But after Rignam's story of hunting for the savoury Himalayan dumpling aired on Now or Never, our Facebook page lit up with fans asking where they could find momos in their own cities.

Canadian music legend k.d. lang tweeted us to say that she's constantly craving momos.

And a fan named Irene Lau organized a momo meetup at a Himalayan restaurant in Vancouver. (Of course, we hungrily attended.)
