#dudeoir: man's sexy boudoir photos for his wife go viral
Brendon Williams loves to make his wife laugh. So when the Langford, B.C., man saw a local photographer post boudoir photos on Facebook, he knew what he had to do.
"As soon as I saw them, I thought, 'That would be really funny for me to do for my wife.'"
"So I found this women's top that said 'amour' on it and a multicolored package of tighty-whities," said Williams.
On the day of the shoot, the photographer — who'd never done a boudoir series featuring a man before — came over and set up her equipment. The two of them got inspiration by Googling "male underwear model poses," said Williams.
I would have been so disappointed with myself if I found myself old and withered and never took boudoir photos.- Brendon Williams
In one photo, Williams stands pensively in front of a window wearing a pair of tight white briefs. In another, he's submerged neck-deep in a bubble bath with his hairy legs kicked out in to the air.
"She just loved them. I did them anticipating that she was going to fall over laughing... but she truly liked them."
His wife wasn't the only one who liked them. After the photographer — Masika May Photography — posted the images online, they quickly became a viral hit.
Thousands of shares later, Williams says he thinks he understands why his awkward boudoir photos gained so much attention.
"If I was a stereotypical underwear-model-guy, they would not have been that popular at all. But I think [they were] because I'm a bit overweight and I look like any other dude.
