Bonnie Lyons-Cohen was a teacher and avid kickboxer before she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. She thought she’d never lace up a pair of gloves again until she discovered Rock Steady Boxing.

Bonnie Lyons-Cohen was diagnosed with Parkinson's eight years ago. As a teacher and avid kickboxer, she thought she'd never lace up a pair of gloves again. But when she discovered Rock Steady Boxing, that all changed.

And although she finds that the exercise has helped fight against her symptoms, she never thought that she'd find such a strong sense of camaraderie at a boxing club.
