For Jillian Keiley, setting the Stratford Festival production of Shakespeare's As You Like It in 1980s Newfoundland was an obvious choice, because the play's themes of city versus country echo what was happening in her home province at that time.

If you go see it, you could end up being a tree or even getting up onstage to dance. That audience interaction of the play springs directly from Newfoundland culture.
