New music label wants to be more in tune with up-and-coming Indigenous artists
RPM Records promotes contemporary indigenous music
Indigenous musicians like Buffy Sainte Marie, Tanya Tagaq, and A Tribe Called Red are known around the world, but few artists have attained that level of mainstream success.
That's why Jarrett Martineau co-founded an online music platform called Revolutions Per Minute (or RPM) in 2011. He wanted to help up-and-coming Indigenous artists find their voice.
Now, Jarrett has helped launch a record label with the same goal in mind.
