PHOTO GALLERY: Penn State student called the "Squirrel Whisperer"

Around the Penn State university campus, Mary Krupa is known as the squirrel whisperer. It's a title that she's earned through patience, love, and pockets full of nuts.

She started befriending squirrels on campus three years ago, and soon discovered that the creatures would let her pose with them wearing hats and other props -- all for the promise of some food. Mary tells Carol, "They're very intelligent animals and if you're nice to them they'll actually recognize you and they'll actually come up to you next time."
