The remains of a what may be an 800-year-old medieval monk have been discovered after a woman walking along a beach spotted leg bones sticking out of a cliff face in southern Wales. The femurs were apparently exposed after a series of harsh winter storms eroded the cliff face.
Archaelogists are now studying the bones -- which remain lodged in the rock -- to accurately determine to whom they belonged. They believe the bones may have belonged to a drowned sailor who was taken ashore and buried at the top of the cliff. But Karl J. Langford, an actor and self-professed archaeologist, is certain the exposed thigh bones belonged to a medieval monk.

"I would say they belong to a monk from the 1200s."
