The 2021 Juno Awards included a performance by Justin Bieber, who was nominated in five categories this year, and won the award for pop album of the year for 2020's Changes.
Bieber, who hadn't made an appearance at the Junos since 2010, performed "Somebody" from his latest album, Justice. Backed by a five-piece band, the global superstar sang in a cubic space with constantly shifting projections highlighting words and phrases from the lyrics. The new wave-inflected song inspired Bieber, newly shorn and attired in shorts and a T-shirt, to pull some '80s-inspired dance moves.
