Alanis Morissette stars in fashion campaign for Canadian brand Moose Knuckles
Juno-winning musician Mustafa also makes an appearance
Grammy-winning singer Alanis Morissette is the face of the new fall/winter campaign for Canadian outerwear brand Moose Knuckles.
The fashion label is known for its down-filled parkas, and Morissette wears a long belted puffer in the images and videos for the collection.
"Moose Knuckles is a modern and forward-thinking Canadian luxury label that is street-meets-haute," Morissette told WWD.
"As a young artist singing from the age of nine in my hometown of Ottawa, I felt surrounded by a quality of expressing that was androgynous and brazen," she said. "I am very happy to be working with a brand that understands the importance of raw and visceral expression being brought to the world. Moose Knuckles lives by this commitment and honours it in their designs."
Other celebrities featured in the campaign alongside Morissette include Juno-winning musician Mustafa, Euphoria actor Javon Walton and more.
According to the brand's website, Morissette is the face of the collection because she is "an archetypal figure of our world due to her unapologetic and authentic approach."
It's not the first time Moose Knuckles has teamed up with Canadian musicians: earlier this year, the brand launched a new music video production grant with the Prism Prize to support hip-hop artists making high-quality music videos. Rappers Sean Leon, iaamSaam and Skiifall were announced as the inaugural recipients of $20,000 each in June.
