Winnipeg police hope releasing new details about a female cyclist who died in a collision on Main Street and Logan Avenue Wednesday will help identify her.
The woman, who appears to be in her late 20s or early 30s, has "distinctive tattoos" on her left arm, said a police news release on Friday.
But police would not provide a photo or description of the tattoos because they want to use that information to help single out legitimate calls.
The woman was riding a white Barletta ATB 12 bicycle with grey writing on it at the time of the crash, said police. She had no identification on her.
Anyone with information about who the cyclist might be can call investigators with the central traffic unit at 204-986-6271.
