Calgary police are investigating another shooting in the city's northeast, but it appears only a vehicle was damaged in this latest incident.
Officers got a call about shots being fired around 10 p.m. Sunday night in the 100 block of Coral Springs Close N.E.
When investigators arrived in the area, they found a vehicle that had been shot at multiple times, but it appears no one was inside.
Police said they have searched the neighbourhood and checked with hospitals but haven't found anyone with gunshot wounds.
The guns and gangs unit is investigating.
The incident comes hours after a fatal Monterey Park shooting earlier on Sunday in the 100 block of Del Ray Road N.E.
Police don't believe that attack was random, and say more information is expected after an autopsy is completed.
