If there's one thing in this world we know to be true, it's that no winter storm is complete without a bag of chips to make your day off that much more comforting and fattening.

As word of the first storm for eastern and southern Newfoundland spread, the obligatory apocalyptic-like lines at the grocery store began — and yes — the chip aisle started to deplete.
There's prepared.
And then there's overkill.
It's not just for the birds — but they enjoy it too.
Rule No.1 of #stormchips: wait for the storm.
But for some, it was just too late.
We've fallen so in love with concept of eating whatever you want on a storm day that we've turned it into a contest on our Facebook page, with the hashtag #snowsnacks.
There's nothing to worry about if you've missed out of storm chips this time around. There will be plenty more opportunities to come.
