Vancouver restaurateur spied on patrons and staff using camera hidden in restaurant bathroom
Allan Bosomworth, the former co-owner of a now-closed Vancouver restaurant, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of secretly observing or recording nudity in a public place.
A tiny camera had been discovered by Bosomworth's business partner, Karl Gregg, in the co-ed washroom of Two Chefs and a Table. The space was also used by staff as a change room.
Bosomworth was arrested after turning himself into police in Sept. 2013.
Sentencing has been scheduled for Dec. 10. The offence carries a maximum sentence of five years.
The restaurant — which closed in June last year — was located at 305 Alexander Street, on the eastern edge of the Gastown district.
