Arrest warrant issued for Allan Bosomworth, co-owner of Two Chefs and a Table
An arrest warrant has been issued for the co-owner of a closed Vancouver eatery after staff say a hidden camera was found in the restaurant's only bathroom.
Two former employees of Two Chefs and a Table – an upscale restaurant at 305 Alexander St. in Gastown that closed in June – say they were told by another one of the co-owners that he had discovered a camera in the washroom.
The washroom was the only one in the restaurant and was also used as a change room by staff members.
An indictment and arrest warrant have now been filed for co-owner Allan Bosomworth, but the former servers say they have been told police will not be attempting to locate any potential victims because the camera only recorded images from the waist down.
Although Two Chefs and a Table closed earlier this year, the company continues to operate two other restaurants – Big Lou's Butcher Shop, also in Vancouver, and Two Chefs in Richmond.
Ian Tostenson, President of the B.C. Restaurant and Foodservices Association says patrons of other restaurants should not be concerned.
"This is not a restaurant problem. This is an individual problem," he said.
