When Emi and Scott decided to tear down their Calgary digs and build a new home in its place, they followed one motto: build the house for the people you are, not the people you want to be. While it took over two years to get everything just right, their three-story abode, which mixes classic design with flashy flooring and artwork that commands a room, lives up to their pledge — and then some.
