These colourful creations can act as the perfect backdrop for custom invitations and letters or for simply framing in a shadow box all on their own. And if you're really feeling adventurous, take your piece a step further by using it as a canvas for another art project, like Steven did with this sleek skull silk-screen.
Here's what you'll need to follow along:
- Sheets of 300 lb watercolour paper (can be found at art supply stores)
- Sheets of 400 lb watercolour paper (can be found at art supply stores)
- A sink (or a large plastic bin filled ¼ way with water)
- Ink in colours of your choosing
- Rolling pin
- Large towel
- Tea towels
