A healthy beverage to help you feel your best after all those soirees and sweets

The holidays can be a hard time to pass up some of the delicious foods we love so much. With festivities often revolving around food, a little indulgence here and there is to be expected. But when you find yourself with a stomach ache brought on by a few too many seasonal eats, it can be hard to know what to reach for. Holistic nutritionist Peggy Kotsopoulos has a remedy to help you feel your best after all of those soirees and sweets. Rehydrating is key — and coconut water is full of electrolytes, plus it’s tasty. Ingredients like mint tea and billberries will help with bloat and sugar overload to help your stomach recover. A superb elixir for this time of year, this smoothie is super hydrating, high in fibre and of course, delicious.

  • ½ cup watermelon
  • ¼ cup strawberries
  • ¼ cup billberries or blueberries
