Yellow there! The hot hue of the moment made its way to your makeup
Trying any of these canary, mustard and sunshine hues this season is a pretty bright idea
Fall can be a little depressing, what with the rapid decline in temperatures, shorter days, and palettes switching from pastels and brights to drearier, earthy tones. But if you're not quite ready to let go of summer even though you've packed away your warm-weather wardrobe, good news: you can keep summer alive with the hot trend that is yellow in beauty. Thanks to the fact that Gen-Z Yellow took over from Millennial Pink earlier this year as everyone's favourite colour, sunshiney hues are going to be on everyone's lips, nails and eyes this coming season. You might think yellow isn't the most wearable colour, but there are lots of softer, pastel tones to keep you in your comfort zone. And if you're feeling adventurous, don't be afraid to swipe a hit of acid yellow across your eyelids for a night out. Read on to see the prettiest yellow beauty products you'll be reaching for all season.
This matte eyeshadow is super pigmented, so the colour that'll end up on your lids is exactly what you see in the pan. Keep it softer by blending just a little all over your lid, or wet an eyeliner brush and trace your upper lash line with it.
