"Nazi Getting Punched" video nominated for Best Picture

HOLLYWOOD, CA–Nominations for the 89th Academy Awards were announced today and audiences were pleased to discover that their favourite indie feature "Nazi Getting Punched" has risen to the top ranks of Hollywood with a Best Picture nomination.

Set in Washington, the action-drama follows the story of Richard B. Spencer, an alt-right activist with a very stupid haircut, who ultimately gets knocked in his gross Nazi head by the heroic Person in a Hoodie on the day of Donald Trump's inauguration.

"Nazi Getting Punched" began as an online sensation and soon became a mainstream, box office success. Critics have praised the film for its important if heavy-handed political content, dramatic twists and turns, and pro-hitting-Nazi stance.

"I had no idea where it was headed," says a reviewer for the LA Times, "One minute the Nazi is being interviewed about how great racism is and the next minute a fist is being smashed against his face. It was riveting."

Person in a Hoodie is being lauded for his incredible performance. "His aim is superb," said a reviewer for the New York Times.

Person in a Hoodie has been nominated for Best Leading Actor, and Person Who Spit on the Nazi Later has earned a Best Supporting Actor nod. The film is also up for Best Original Screenplay, and Best Response to the Existence of a Nazi.

The music, which was composed by the internet, is nominated for Best Score. "The music adds a lot, especially the use of Born in the USA and In The Air Tonight," says a reviewer for The Chicago Tribune.

"When the beat changes after the fist makes contact, it felt like the first time I watched Indiana Jones."

Leonardo DiCaprio has already purchased the rights to the story and plans to immediately start working on a more in-depth remake of the film. "It's such a compelling tale," DiCaprio says.

"I want to know more. What happened after the punch? How large was the bruise? Did the Nazi ever get a better haircut? What happened when he got spit on later? Did he walk all the way home or did he call an Uber at one point? And is Person in a Hoodie also Banksy?"

DiCaprio said that he himself will be playing the role of the Nazi in hopes of winning his second Academy Award. In other Oscar news, Shia LaBeouf picked up a Best Actor nomination for his excellent performance in the film "Screaming in the Face of a White Supremacist".
