Local mom considering comedy career after 'I need my Monday coffee!' meme gets 9 likes on Facebook
MISSISSAUGA, ON—Move over, Amy Schumer! The comedy world birthed a new dandelion Wednesday when local 57-year-old mom Beverley Reinhardt's "I need my Monday coffee!" meme got a whopping nine likes on Facebook.

"People really got a kick out of it," she said of the fall-down hysterical image that was shared across two different social media platforms. "If you're a mom, you need your coffee. Everybody knows that." With encouraging comments on the post like "LOLz", "OKAY, PLEASE STOP, MY STOMACH IS ACTUALLY HURTING!!!!" and most important, "Have you ever thought of doing this for a living?" the decision was a no-brainer.
By the following morning, Reinhardt had already given her two weeks notice on a six-figure career as an elderly care worker and registered for an open mic spot at Yuk Yuk's Mississauga location.
"So far I think the first thing I'm going to say is, 'It's Monday! Who else could use a coffee?!' That should do really well. I'm not sure if I'll say anything else. I may actually not even need to."
Despite the meme being what she would consider her "first official joke", Reinhardt insists that she has always been a genuinely hilarious individual. "We had a luncheon last month for a lady I know who's retiring and I decided to wear this really tiny cowboy hat about the size of my fist. Well — I mean, you should have just seen the women. They couldn't contain themselves."
Being new to the field, Reinhardt expressed utter disbelief that no other female comedians with children had explored the comedic goldmine of being a mother in need of caffeine to presumably allay the everyday responsibilities of children and career.
"My husband and I were watching an old Roseanne tape, and she didn't mention it once. Not once! You just want to pinch some of these women. Like, hello! Yoo-hoo! You're missing some absolute gold here."
