Shawn takes his son, Kijel, ice fishing. While it's a fun day out with dad, Shawn also takes the opportunity to teach Kijel how to fish.

Third-generation ice fisherman Shawn Buckley likes to take his young son Kijel out for a cold day of fishing on Great Slave Lake as a way to teach him how to live off the land. 

Watch Kijel's excitement as he helps his dad catch an array of cod, whitefish, and coney.
