Shauna Jimenez has been voluntarily sponsoring and resettling refugees to rural Canadian communities since 1983. She is a passionate advocate for a fair and just private sponsorship of refugees program and is especially dedicated to protracted refugees with special needs. For more than 30 years, she has encouraged the formation of many active sponsorship groups across B.C. and Alberta.
