Boil water advisory lifted for Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, after 96 days

The advisory, lifted Wednesday morning by Nunavut's health department, had been in place since July 12.

Advisory was in place as work progressed on hamlet's water mains

After 96 days, people in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, no longer have to boil their water before drinking it.

The advisory, lifted Wednesday morning by Nunavut's health department, had been in place since July 12.

It was originally brought in as a precautionary measure due to work on the town's water mains.
