A boil water advisory put in place in July in Igloolik, Nunavut, was lifted on Wednesday, says Nunavut's Department of Health.
The hamlet of about 2,000 people was put on a precautionary boil water advisory on July 22.
A news release in July said the advisory was issued over high turbidity, or cloudiness, in the water.
A separate news release issued Wednesday afternoon said the advisory had been lifted.
This year alone, 11 of Nunavut's 25 communities have been under boil water advisories at least once.
