Celebrate Indigenous voices in film at the Caravan Farm Theatre with CBC

CBC is honoured to partner with Caravan Farm Theatre to celebrate Indigenous voices in film at the Indigenous Film Festival and Short Film Showcase from August 22 to 24 in Armstrong, B.C.

Showcasing some of the country's most exciting filmmakers, the Indigenous Film Festival will feature three feature films selected by a panel of Indigenous elders and artists. Each film selected for the showcase will receive an honorarium of $500. 

More than movies, these three nights are celebrations of Indigenous voices, stories and communities. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic, take a stroll through the fields, enjoy Tsilhqot'in BBQ, hot buttered popcorn, locally sourced beverages, and settle in for a night of outdoor cinema!
