Halifax Regional Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Dartmouth, N.S.

Cortrell Thomas, 37, was killed on Monday night, police said in a news release Tuesday.&nbsp;

Police&nbsp;said they responded to a report of gunshots on Ancona Place in the Montebello subdivision around 9 p.m. AT.

Officers arrived on scene and located a man who had been shot outside of a home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.&nbsp;

Police say they don't believe the shooting was random, and are searching for two suspects&nbsp;who were seen leaving Ancona Place through Craig Blake Memorial Park. A path connects the cul-de-sac to the park behind it.&nbsp;

"Anyone who has video footage from the area, including Capistrano Drive, Appian Way and Casavechia Court, is asked to contact police if they haven't already spoken to an officer," police said in a news release.

, a fresh produce delivery service that sourced&nbsp;its goods from Annapolis Valley farms and brought them to the Uniacke Square community in Halifax. &nbsp;

During its first six months of operation, Square Roots&nbsp;delivered more than 2,721 kilograms&nbsp;of produce to communities tackling food insecurity.
