A stretch of a residential strip in&nbsp;Winnipeg's Wolseley neighborhood has been cordoned off for a police investigation.&nbsp;

Yellow police tape was placed around the intersection between Dundurn Place and Walnut Street, just north of Wolseley Avenue, on Sunday.&nbsp;

Officers were at the scene just past 1 p.m., with some of them seen knocking on doors in the area.&nbsp;

A spokesperson for Winnipeg Police told CBC they have no information to provide at this time, but there is no risk to public safety.
