Intersection in Winnipeg's Wolseley neighborhood cordoned off for police investigation

Officers say they have no information at this time, but there's no risk to public safety

A stretch of a residential strip in Winnipeg's Wolseley neighborhood has been cordoned off for a police investigation.
Yellow police tape was placed around the intersection between Dundurn Place and Walnut Street, just north of Wolseley Avenue, on Sunday.
Officers were at the scene just past 1 p.m., with some of them seen knocking on doors in the area.
A spokesperson for Winnipeg Police told CBC they have no information to provide at this time, but there is no risk to public safety.
